IMPORTANT AUDITION INFORMATION

SIGN UP FOR THE AUDITIONS ABOVE

• Please come prepared for your auditions: Please be off-book for all singing sides and please be familiar (well rehearsed but no need to be off-book) with all speaking sides. Being off-book in general helps your audition out in every aspect.

• Please dress well and look presentable (don’t be in sport shorts and a tank top please) but also in something that you feel comfortable moving in.

• Please be prepared for a dance portion of the audition.

• Everyone should be prepared with the Ensemble piece, even if they are trying out for a leading role.

• People who are trying out for any of the leads should strongly consider preparing multiple roles, i.e. a person who thinks they are a good Scarecrow might be a great Lion or Tin Man.

• People with higher voices (sopranos & tenors) should also be prepared with the Entracte II "Optimistic Voices" side.

• The attached backing tracks are what will be played for the audition, so you need to practice with them and be confident with the starts, stops, and tempos.
