  • A Christmas Carol

    A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, adapted by Wyatt Logan and Callie Johnson. Nineteenth-century London will come to life in this very cafeteria when your family joins Herald Drama for the Christmas season. A group of high school students are trying to recapture the spirit of an old-fashioned Christmas with all their favorite characters: Tiny Tim and the Crachits, the Fezziwigs, the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet-to-Come. But can they pull it off with no sets or costumes to speak of? Hilarity ensues, but you’ll have to find out yourself this December 2023 with A Christmas Carol.

If you like shows such as Saturday Night Live or Whose Line is it Anyway? Then this is for you! We have weekly rehearsals and monthly performances! Come laugh with us!

  • The Wizard of Oz

    Follow the yellow brick road in this delightful stage adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s beloved tale, featuring the iconic musical score from the MGM film. The timeless tale, in which young Dorothy Gale travels from Kansas over the rainbow to the magical Land of Oz, continues to thrill audiences worldwide. This musical will take place in the round in Herald Hall.

    Each year, a team of WCHS Herald Drama students write, direct, and produce their own plays. Students learn the craft of playwriting and the process of a how an idea moves into a realized production.
